TVS Star has a 4-stroke, air cooled OHC type engine. Its cubic capacity is 99.7cc and it can deliver a maximum power of 5.50 bhp @ 7500 rpm, maximum torque of 7.5 Nm @ 5500 rpm. Its compression ratio is 9.15: 1 and the transmission type is 4-speed contact mesh type.
Control and comfort details:
TVS star uses telescopic hydraulic fork as the front suspension with 100mm stroke capacity and spring loaded double acting hydraulic shock absorbers as the rear suspension with 78 mm stroke. It has a broad tyre base of 2.75 x 18 at the front and 3.0 x 18 at the rear, the firmness of its tyres provides a safety driving to the riders.
Electricals and instrument system:
TVS star uses a well performing CDI ignition system and has a safety ensuring lighting system. It is equipped with a bright headlight; trail brake head light and turn signals which help in easing riding. The bike has a huge 16 litres fuel capacity and 2.5 litres for reserve.

The TVS Star is available in three colors black, blue and maroon. It comes in with a wheel base of 1250 mm with extra grip and a kerb weight of 104 kgs.
